ABOUT

Harrison Steinbuch specializes in exterior and interior architectural photography. His background in Architecture played a significant role in defining his photography style. Based in Chicago, IL, his photography explores contemporary urban compositions, building upon the traditions of classic street photography. His "Wall Fragments" series is an ongoing documentation series capturing found shapes, lines, textures, shadows, and reflections. 

Harrison is currently Engineering Manager practicing at the Armstrong World Industries Libertyville, Illinois manufacturing plant. He plays a major role in the design and fabrication of custom metal architectural wall and ceiling features. He received his Master of Architecture degree with distinction from the Southern California Institute of Architecture in 2014 and his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University in 2012.  He has previously practiced at TURF Design in Chicago, Illinois; Warren Techentin ArchitectureOyler Wu Collaborative, P-A-T-T-E-R-N-S and ROTO Architecture in Los Angeles, California; as well as SHP Leading Design in Columbus, Ohio.

Harrison is co-founder and CBDO of Makeplus - a fabrication and creative hub in Los Angeles, California.
